A child without education is a child without future!
To every child in western countries it is very common to go to school. However, for children in Guatemala, going to school is not a common practice.
That is why the school fund Elly's Kids Foundation was founded, on initiative of Elly Cosijn.
The start of the school fund Elly's Kids Foundation
On the 20th of November 2002 Elly's Kids Foundation was founded. This day was chosen because this day is a very important day to the rights of children. The 20th of November is the day of the Treaty of Children's Rights. This treaty was drawn up by the United Nations in 1989.
